Visit the capital of Hanoi, a city like no other, the architecture there is odd because it is Vietnamese but has inspirations from French architects as well. This makes you feel as if you’ve been transported back in time to the middle of the twentieth century! Also, in Hanoi lies Vietnams oldest library, built in 1070, it is called the Temple of Literature, sure to be very cool for every bookworm.
A great place to visit while in Vietnam is Halong Bay, probably one of the most popular and well known areas of Vietnam, this bay is riddled with beautiful limestone islands that rise out of the water, a very beautiful sight. You can take a boat or kayak tour around the bay in order to truly see it.
One of the biggest and most populous cities in Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh City, like any big city, you’re going to need to give yourself a day or two to just explore and take it all in. Filled with scooters and bikes, this city is different than a lot of other big cities, and definitely busier!
Vietnam is more than just book cities though; it is also a great place for hiking! If you are an outdoors person who loves hiking through the forest and mountains, then Vietnam is a visit made for you! It has plenty of hiking trails that you can take around the country!
